Lee Nestor & Joe Taylor Live on NBC's Atlanta & Company

News from my SOUTH EAST TOUR
The TOUR in the South East was a big success for me. Lot's of fun, great people at my shows, a few new songs in the works. Sat in on Caroline Rhett's new CD, was interviewed and played LIVE with Joe Taylor on NBC's ATLANTA & COMPANY with host Christine Pullara. It was a total blast!

Performance News!
COMING UP*****Headlining with Joe Taylor at RED HOT TOMATOES in South Carolina, December 18th (see blog for more details), Happy Holidays!*******Had a great CD RELEASE PARTY at THE LIVING ROOM in NYC.*******I was joined by JOE TAYLOR, STEVE HOLLEY and PAUL PAGE. Lot's of great friends came out to the show, it was a great hang! Thanks for being there!********Also another wonderful show at THE MINT in LA! Blew the roof off the place with JOE TAYLOR, PHILIP BYNOE and BLAIR SHOTTS. So rockin and fun. I got inspired to explore some spoken word improv as well as a new song for this show. The title track to my first CD, STRONGER THAN THIS. I love my band's interpretation, very swampy, sexy, slow with a heat on the back end that makes your body sway and groove. Fun!

CRUMBS new Music Video!!!!

CRUMBS from Del Bigtree on Vimeo.

The making of Crumbs was captured on video at historic EastWest Studios in Hollywood by Emmy-winning Director Del Bigtree, and illustrates the actual “day in the life” of Lee and her band recording the song from scratch.

Gibson Showroom Los Angeles
I was just at the GIBSON showroom in LA test driving a new guitar they have designed! It is amazing, wait till you see it! Can't say anymore at the moment, but this instrument will blow your mind, totally brilliant! Think Aston Martin, that kind of artistry!

New York City!
Just got back from NYC! Performed with JOE TAYLOR at The Living Room on Ludlow Street. The city was hopping! We had a great sound check thanks to Gains at the venue. After soundcheck headed up the block to Katz's Deli for dinner. Steve Holly ran into an old friend, WARREN HAYNES form Gov't Mule/Allman Brothers Band!
So cool, we all had dinner together, took a couple of pics, then headed back to the club to play. I so enjoyed sitting in with Joe, Steve Holly and Paul Page. We "came to rock" as Paul Page so aptly put it. Arm in the air, fist clenched, groovy smile on face, a bit of a growl, and attitude of ROCK, head cocked! I played a Gibson CJ 165, like butter. What a lovely guitar!

Another highlight on my trip was seeing Benny Landa and his band play at P&G Bar uptown on the Westside. He was great and the room was filled with killer musicians. Lots of fun! Thanks Benny!

Lee Rocks the Rochester Indie Fest!
Lee recently performed at The Rochester Indie Festival with her smoking hot band! Featuring Grammy nominated soloist and label mate, Joe Taylor on guitar, Steve Holley (of Paul McCartney’s Wings) on drums and Paul Ossola from (Saturday Night Live's house band) on bass.
******************While in ROCHESTER Lee and Joe Taylor got to visit with BROTHER WEASE on his famed morning show THE WEASE SHOW on 95.1 THE FOX. Also on the schedule was a visit and live performance on THE SCOTT REGAN SHOW called Open Tunings on WXXI Radio/WRUR 88.5. This spirited show featured Lee and Joe playing acoustic songs and telling stories from the road.

Midnight Wednesday out now!

Moonwatcher Music is proud to release Lee Nestor’s new CD, MIDNIGHT WEDNESDAY, which is, like Lee herself, a powerful, beautiful, whirling dervish of Rock-driven Pop tunes.

Says Jeff Spevak of the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle: “California’s Lee Nestor filled the room with great pop songs.”
